i would imagine to participate. you would have to either have your rig transported there separately, or drive someone else's truck right?.

I mean if this is an offer, sure i will fly down and drive the marlin crawler truck anyplace you want lol...
Those are some huge welds!

We've flown Marlin, CJ, and Angelo to Texas events on three different occasions, and CJ to a Hawaii event. It's very easy to find an open seat, especially if your first name is Marlin :yesnod:

We've also got two Canadian events that we'd love to attend but it would be more cost effective to fly than to drive or trailer a rig all the way up there... Alberta for instance.

I've not had this pleasure yet, but maybe someday :)

It didn't start out that I was flying to go wheeling but it ended up that way. I flew in to Palm Springs from Phoenix on a Thurs when my mother in law went into the hospital, went out to Johnson Valley hitched a ride with some of my CA club members who happened to be there that weekend for the Tinbenders Jamboree and went back that Tues after the meeting with the doctor. I chatted with Mike and Marlin at the event and Mike gave me and my son some swag.

If Mike said I had a seat or got to drive one of their crawlers, I'd do it.   :smokin:

But, I'd at least try to drive my rig there first, cause I love road trips.

And Mike, the next time I'm down there, I'll fetch pizzas with Marlin's truck.  You know I'd do it!  Cause you guys are the best!!
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

Cool story RS, glad we got rid of that Mike character. Not only did he have the same name as me but he was always giving stuff away to people!
