Name is Dario. I have an 87' pickup and I don't make as much money as I'd like, thus my truck suffers from Marlin Crawler google chrome window shopping with drawls. She's had a taste and now thirst for more. Pouting currently, motor I gave her had about 10k on it and now rattles so she's been punished and stays home a whole lot more then shes use to. Damned if I'm strict but its for the best. But hey at least she isn't getting fat.

Yeah so my truck recently started having a bit of a light rattle. Not timing chain. I'm guessing 4th bore wrist pin. I just put her away to keep her from getting worse. Like most of us I sure wish I could dump an ungodly amount of money on this thing. I guess there really is never an end to it anyway. Recently picked up both axles and the t-case off a locals 1980 pickup. Scored that for 100 bucks! So I spent about a buck fifty short of my 500 dollar marlin gift card (bday present) on a purty new 1200lb clutch kit and a front axle rebuilt kit.

I just started coming on the Marlin Forum, mostly on the yotatech. I noticed there are a hell of a lot more locals here then YT on the classifieds. I'm in the SF east bay, and am constantly on the look out for good deals and Yota parts. I've had about 5 other Toyota pickups and I swear I'll never sell one again.

Well thanks guys! Any good place I can take my stock truck to play in the dirt? I do have some larger 33" tires I could throw on. Curious about Praire City in Sac and Holister. What is your opinion?

Welcome...

I have not been to holister but have been to prairie city. From what I understand the trails at Holister weave in and around a lot of trees. Prairie city is pretty stock friendly. They recently did some work and created some new obstacles for the better equipped rigs.
