Is anybody running thier gas tank side ways, or are there any adverse sloshing effects?

Mike Id like to see someone hit me hard enough to get to the tank.  Theres a good 8" between the 3 1/2" square tube that is welded to the frame and plated to hell and back.  The shackles mount to that tube and beings the springs are inboarded it really helps to protect the tank from rocks too.
