Here are some pics of my current project I started a few months ago.  I got it bone stock from the original owner with no dents or rust!   So far I have a 7" custom lift (with all poo 4" springs, custom hangers, etc), 38" TSL's with 15x10 custom 2.5" BS wheels, IFS rear, braided lines, marlins crossover, converted to powersteering, and much more.  Still have a huge pile of parts to install including a dual ultimate, HP front third, V6 rear, Bilsteins with shock hoops, the list goes on and on.  hope to have it ready for summer!!!

:headscratch:   Uhhh, I don't see anything...oh sweet jesus I've gone blind!
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Nice truck I also just bought an 82 Toyota, want to convert to powersteering but never did it. I did read that i would need a 86 - 95 pwr steer assy. How hard was it?

This is my 1982 Toyota that I recently purchased after coming back from overseas. Right know I am slowly adding to it to make it a good rock crawler but it will take time.

It was really easy, just get a IFS steering box, and all the underhood components.  It only takes a few hours

I'm in the process of painting the ol'rig metallic silver, scrapped the bed, and have plans for a bada$$ flatbed with cage, also switching to 37" mtr's instead of the tsl's.  They were wearing out too fast for how much I drive the thing on the street.  Oh yeah, I will also be adding autometer gauges, new interior, bunch of rock lights, you know how it goes.  I will post up pics as I make some progress.

oddball

plans sound good but I like the way it looks right now too
