Hey that's me! Thanks for taking the great pics. Man my rig looks beat down. Got any others? I have none of my truck from the weekend.

Sure thing Mike H... :usa:

 Got home Yesterday afternoon about 2:30pm....First time on the 'Con, and I will be looking forward to another trip, hopefully in my rig...Got over 400 pics, but I have to wait for my post count to come up some I guess...
Had a great time at the round-up ...Good too meet some new faces. mudaddict and his co-pilot were great folks to hang with for the weekend! Sat nite we added a couple to our camp, Nate and Megan... Even though we had a visitor from the woods Sat nite at Buck, caught the bear climbing into Mud's truck about 1/2 hr after we got back from the Springs...... :rofl2: We scared the bear off, but apparently sometime during the nite the camp below us got raided... :help: The trip out was fairly un-eventful, we hung with Nate to make sure he made it out ok, seeings how he scattered his front diff Saturday sometime, and nearly yanked the rear out of the housing trying to get out in 2wd...but we made it to Loon in good time...

I want to say THANK YOU MARLIN AND CREW for putting this on!!! It's not often you have a company hold a run just to show the appreciation to your customers! :beerchug: It was great to meet the Man! :turtle3:

Lol, no, that's what happens when a welded diff decides to let go and grenade the carrier.  I'm never doing that again. $100 bucks for a spool is cheaper in the long run and more reliable. Just my 2 cents.

ouch!
When in doubt, skinny pedal!

Id like to see what failed in that front. He came over a while back and i set it up for him. When he told me it broke that just added to a shitty day for me.

Made it almost all the way thru little sluice when my arb failed and totally exploded most of my front end including shearing the splines off of a longfield :-)  made it to springs in 1wd and got broken turtle award then went up Cadillac with stock birf and exploded that too so no steering took that out at trailhead on Tahoe side to male it home with steering then on way home ran outta gas and had output flange nut come out! Amazing adventure! Great times great people! Thanks all that tried to help me!

We cruised from Loon to the Springs on Friday.  Springs to Loon on Sunday.  The first gen is my dad's and the freshly built Samurai is my buddy Pat's.  No major issues and we had a good time.
