Hi everyone, just posting because i'm happy with the way my buggy chassis is turning out and thought id share some pics.  There is no build thread due to it taking me so long to build, and not doing anything so revolutionary that would warrant a build thread.  That's why im posting it in the tube section.    Specs are Toyota drive-train and a lot of 1.5 dom lol.  The pictures are at ride height with 6.5 inches of up travel front and rear.  Let me know what you think.

Clean, simple, great lines, propane, links, probably gonna be pretty light, I like it.  This is my idea of a great buggy!

Thanks everyone.  Yeah pretty simple build, not trying to reinvent the wheel.  My goal was to have a rig that wheeled as good as a super built toyota, but did not have any body to thrash or have to worry about getting me home.  I built in some limiting factors that Im hoping will keep it fun on the pretty easy trails in my area.  Its only a 106'' wheelbase, 36'' tires, 23'' belly height, and obviously toyota drive-train lol.  If I ever find time to finish it it should be pretty light, goal weight is 3000 lbs trail ready.

Thanks guys, took a few steps back so not much to show right now.  i sold the 22r and tranny and am throwing in a 4.3 and th350. right now its just a chassis. I did make a few changes to the front so ill try to take a pic of that.

Long overdue update, still havent worked on the buggy much, a wedding, move, new job and baby on the way has taken up most my time but looking through the board I saw my post and  though I should at least post a pic of what it looks like now. hope you like it.

Love the cage design.

Thanks, I'm happy with the lines now that all the shock hoops have changed.  Yes, drive train consists of a re-manufactured gm performance 4.3( $400 bucks from a dealer going out of business  ), th350, aa adapter, stock toyota duals (I have a 4.7 case to throw in if I want too  :turtle3:), and built toy axles geared 4.56 or 4.88.  I think the axles will be okay on 36's and the lighter weight but if they end up being to troublesome they will get replaced with ford 9'' stuff. I have all the drive train i'm just getting parts together to finish off the long block so I can mount it in the chassis.  Its sloooow going for sure when you work on it maybe an hour a week but what can you do lol.

Got a few hours this weekend and got the drive train in

Looks good.  I like the height.  Shouldn't have any issues with the axles with that setup, and with weight being low, should be a perfect balance.
