Front lines are custom made up to the stainless steel braided hoses. The rear has the stock 85 line in the caliper, to an IFS front brake hose to a custom made line along the axle housing.

I forgot to mention that I took the ifs hub into work and turned them down to allow the Tundra rotor to slide over them

Close to finishing the half doors. I used the stock inside door handle, and I cut the original door hinge pins so it can be quickly removed.

Starting on a rear bumper. Since my spare takes up the whole cargo space I am gonna have a swing out tire carrier. I 41's are pretty heavy so I took a Toyota hub and cut the wheel mounting surface off on the lathe at work. The Toyota solid axle spindle is bolted to the main part of the bumper and a stock birfield is cut and welded in. The Toyota wheel bearings should be strong enough to hold the weight of the tire and swing carrier. Since I am using these Toyota parts, I will have spare spindle, wheel bearings and lockout hub if I should need them on the trail.

With the Toyota lock out hub, you unlock hub and swing open to whichever position you want then lock hub and it stays there.

Yes Matt, the axle is weld to the bumper so when you lock the hub like you do on your axle it holds in whichever position you lock it at. I will try and post some more pics that show it better. I have been working on a new tail lense because the hub will cover it up when i trim thebody and move the bumper up about 4" from where it sits in the pic.

What wood are you talking about nimyad?

Sorry it has been a while since an update. Those old broken birfields have a use. I cut the the shaft off and welded it to my bumper, bolted a 85 spindle to the bumper, machined the wheel mounting surface of the hub(put it on a brake lathe at work), welded the tire carrier to hub, install bearings and lockout. When you want to open tailgate simply unlock hub, swing tire carrier away, and then lock hub in the desired poisition.

I am gonna trim up the body to gain more clearance in the rear and tuck the bumper up high. The hub will get tucked into the body where the right tail lense is. I will put brake and tail lights in the bumper and keep the stock turn signal. I took an extra tail light assembly and cut it to where I have just the turn signal. More work and more pics coming soon.

Thanks toyotech. I know it has been awhile since I have posted any pics... I am working 2 jobs right now so not much time to work on my own toy. Hope to have some more progress on the rear bumper and soon.

Got a little bit done this weekend. Decided on going a different route on the rear lights. I put 2 red led lights in. 1 for tail light and one for turn and brake. Then I put 1 clear led in for reverse. All lights are recessed into bumper about a 1/4" to protect from damage by rocks. Need to repeat process for passenger side. Also looking for some rock lights to mount in bumper.
