Ford 2 valve V10 sparkplug projectiles

so who's had a V10 blast spark plugs out going down the road??

a friend has a 2001 Excursion with the 2 valve V10.  It blew a spark plug last weekend and we had to install a heli coil .  now the plug he had (what is recommended) has the long threaded portion like a 22R uses but it hit the piston I think. maybe spark plugs from a big block ford would fit better but I dont know does anyone have a V10 head I can look at??

Time sert has good inserts kits and uses stock plugs i have done about 12 of them on fords. Loc tite outter treads and antiseize the plug.
