The only kinda chrome you like, right  :gap:  I'm gonna try more roe and beads this year and try to use kastmasters less.  Seem to get more snags in the holes with them blowing out so much water, and it gets expensive fast with kastmasters finding each new snag.

I do have a new kayak too, and once I get a little time on flat water getting used to it, I'll use it to float out and position above a hole so I can try something new

You know it ! love that chrome.  Im going to mostly be flossing this year to try and keep more gas money in the pocket. Will still be going by boat but we'll be shooting down finding a riffle beach it and floss some salmon teeth for a while then move to another. Save alot more money than boondoggling all day. If you can make it down during the day when the season is open i'll see if i cant getcha on the boat with us. my buddy wont care since you're a little guy and wont weigh it down much LOL

No pics yet cause I can't find my cable, but I caught a nice 32" + salmon today, full of roe.  Also took the glock for a little swim a little later  :_oops:

It's hit and miss.  That was my 4th trip so far, and the majority of the fish I see were fairly beat up, but this guy was fairly clean, save for all the leech marks.  There was one in the hole the other day that had to go 25-30 lbs and had a huge sore spot on his head.  Also had on a very silver female last week but she broke my craptastic line, as did 3 other fish that day  :shake:  I no longer have that line.

Not the best pic, but you get the idea of the size next to the can, even though it's a little curled from being too long for the cooler.

So, how's the salmon numbers in N. Cali?  We are hitting EPIC numbers up here.  Some of the old timers are saying they haven't seen runs like this since the 80's.  A buddy is catching two every morning in the local river, before 8am every morning before work.  I'm trading him some fresh ling cod for salmon.  I love me some cedar planked salmon.

The best thing for me is, I got a buddy that fishes all the time, and gives me a portion of his catch.   :willynilly:   So, I don't have to go buy poles, line, permits or gear.  I just toss him some homemade carrot cake.

It's good you don't really know it's there.  It just adds sweetness and moistness.

I have even put golden raisins in it.  AHHHH.
