Updated Raffle Format: This year we will only have a Grand Prize Raffle.

ya i was wondering about the raffle too. the grand prize raffle is awesome. havn't won yet though. but i would think that alot of the money is raised from the regular raffle. i am curious why the are not having it this year. i understand its gotta be tough to bring the prizes into the springs, and it takes up quite a bit of time. or maybe its just tough times for vendors which is understandable. maybe gift certs for the prizes or something but then there is shipping. thoughts or answers?

ya it sucks that they are not but the way i looked at it packing in a bunch of product all the way there takes up tons of room in multiple trucks and is fairly heavy as well. I know last time i was there the trucks were packed super high with box's .

Maybe they just need a break. It is a lot of work to put that on for us.

Thank you for asking about this. We have decided to 1) focus on the Cantina for the Con raffle and 2) have a more friendly/intimate event.

There has been an anonymous donor who has matched the efforts of the Cantina for the Con, so we have been encouraging everyone to attend and participate in the Cantina which doubles everyone's efforts

We have toned it down this year by cutting the registration price nearly in half, having a more simple burger dinner, and not having a general raffle. The Rubicon Trail Foundation will be on site with a booth and will be accepting donations for the foundation!

Thanks for your concern and can't wait to see everyone at the Springs in a few weekends!!
