Finally picked up what I wanted to build..a 82' 1st gen shortbox

I finally came across a good deal for a crawler I actually want to build.
Figured I'd do a typical build
-63s
-RUF's
-duals probably 4.7s in rear case
-35s,5.29s welded rear
-internal cage

Don't plan to paint it or nothing..just wheel the piss out of the truck once finished.

Saw it on a Saturday night, called my buddy up..hooked his Duramax up to the car trailer and we were off Sunday morning to go snatch it

Paid $400 for this..
running truck, came with a set of 15x10 wheels, and a set of 15x8s with bald tires on it..sold the 15x8s for $50 couple hours later to someone.
Got it home and washed off some..


Couple days later I picked up some parts from a member on here
63s, 48's to build RUF's, IFS box, and some shackles
pictured are 15x10s also



and today I finally picked up a set of 35s with wheels from the same member I got 63s, IFS box, etc.

To be continued obviously..going to build the RUF's this week and hang the springs next weekend
So far I have about $1200 into the truck with all parts shown and truck

its perfect for you since you want to make it a crawler, I was looking for a new DD and that truck needed too much work for me.

I got more time and patience then money. Plus all the years working my ass off on buddies trucks, I get favors in return now

Been so busy with work..don't even have time to work on truck or update.
Bought a plasma cutter a couple weeks ago..
picking up ALMOST everything else I need to start hanging springs and rebuilding the front axle next weekend on Saturday..been working solid 6 days a week..8-10 hours a day..
