lift needed?

i have a stock 88 4runner and was wondering if a set of 31's will fit under w/o lift. if so how much body lift do i need minimum. thanks

They'll fit and if they rub just hammer in the pinch weld a bit.

thank you, also do you know of rubber caps that stopped the creeking when turning? i saw them on expedition portal it was called "ck auto" any ideas?

I have 31's on my 88 PU without any suspension or body lift. Didn't have to touch the pinch welds either. No clearance problems at all. No rubbing. Using chrome modular wheels with 4" BS IIRC.

I just got used to the creaking at full turn. Just polish the steering stops and stick some grease on them. If you are talking about those plastic caps, they will just get destroyed and fall off.

if you wheel it those caps will not stay on, and 31's will fit with no issues even with stock rims
