I had 31s on my 80 with no lift. I think 33s may require some cutting??

I've had 35s on my '80 with maybe 2" of lift and they barely even rub.  A shackle lift or some old man emu springs would be just right I think.

Depending on backspacing and rim width used, you can fit 33's w/o a lift.
'90 black X-cab mod'd 3.0, 33's/4.88's, rear ARB, custom bumpers, sliders, safari rack, etc.
'91 Blue X-cab 22re, 35's/5.29's,Truetrac front, ARB rear, dual cases, and custom Safari flatbed, bumper, interior.

Yes, I have had 33x12.50s on my '80 stock with minimal rubbing.
