AMS 1595 A ???

Does anyone know what the AMS 1595 A welding code is? I googled it and got some military document, but I cant make heads or tails of what its saying.

Would you mind putting that in English, I mean just what the heck does that mean. I applied for an AeroSpace job that was for TIG but had that AMS code as a requirement for certs. But I still dont know what it means.       I've to many to drink, pretty sure Im rambling

well it says fusion welding, so that usually means no filler rod. ask this place what the test will be like cant be too hard

Ok, I found out that AMS 1595 A is basically the same as AWS D17.1, which is what I've been practicing for any ways, so this shouldn't be a problem. SWEET.
