well here is how my weekend ended    something shorted out in the truck causing it to not run anymore. i was 5 mins from the trail

Fixed the truck back up and running gonna tinker with my steering and then wheel it this week/weekend!!

broken ground wire from the block to chassis it was in plain sight  but it was so late fri when we were working on it didnt even see iand about 10 people looked at it. i new it had to be a ground issue it was doing all kinds of funny things little gremlins running around lol.

took it out today to test out 4wd and im loving this truck i extended the front shaft cut tube replaced with super thick dom and it has no vibs up to 25mph so im stoked. but here are some teaser pics i will be doing a shake down this weekend. (did find out the panhard hits the upper link mount so i need to fix that)

i had hid fog lights on the stock bumper and had to cut the grill to fit them since not much room (see pictures) then i just did the same thing for the bumper i made. It will be replaced here shortly when i get some funds. New bumper should be on this week as well just sitting at the shop just need to finish welding it all together.

Time to get this thing finished up. on the 98-00 trucks they ahve a longer frame so i had to cut my frame back and weld in some new frame ends with nuts.



got the bumper being primed at the moment i really like the white but i have a color in mind and i just hope its not to bright lol. if so i will paint the axle that color.


and i got some paint thats the same color as my truck code matched and all so i decided to get rid of the black

i want to but i think i need to find a different paint it looks like crap up close lol.

Also realized the bumper is missing a few things so i will have to modify it not gotta make a bracket to protect the radiator sticking down and put some d-ring mounts on it.

well i really didnt like how the green turned out so onto the next color. battleship grey (same color i painted my 4runner) i really like this color. i put some plates on the top of the bumper under the headlights,welded on some d-ring mounts and some light tabs on the center hoop. Installed the lower radiator guard to help protect it since it hangs down so dang low.

it does i still havent decided on what im going to do with them gonna see if they grow on me or not might cut all the hoops off and just leave it but goonna wait and see
