Hyena

nope.  still has the shitty Trailmaster IFS lift.

Well been complaining about the ride quality latley and finally found out they did the hard valving in the shocks and not the normal stuff so got some new valving sent down from walker evans and getting them rebuilt also found out there was not much nitro in the shocks kind of a problem lol. But anyways onto the pictures.

i was on the clock so not many pictures of it just a few i snapped when i walked into the shop. Hopefully this helps out alot now time to do some minor tweaks to the steering due to some contact of the tie rod and panhard upper mount bolt. and check toe and all that stuff to see if any changed after the con.

Went up to johnson valley for some wheelin this weekend truck did good through a random section i decided to try and then later on tried a pretty tight section ended up wedging my self in and heard a snap. well took it apart and replaced the hub on the trail found a broken outter got here today and took it all apart and found the inner axle has stripped splines where it was in the birfield and the birfield doesnt want to move freely feels like its a little messed so going to call bobby see if i can send it in ahve him check it out and see if its bad or  what. And going to get some new axles as well.

the obstacle before i got stuck

Dingman.

Too much skinny pedal with that supercharger?  lol

mudaddict

lol i wish it was i wasnt really on it to much and no real pressure on it was the weird part for how much got destroyed im on how it happened. after messing with the birf it has something wrong with it for sure. From what me and my boss think is the shaft was not heat treated properly after doing the splines on the shaft which caused this to happen.

Hyena

Seems like the inner star of the birf cracked allowing the shaft to turn inside the splines. Look at the inner star for a couple hairline cracks. This would also cause the birfield to feel sticky.

mudaddict

haha already on it hyena. we took it apart this morning finally got to clean it up and take a look.

Broken star

Broken case
