so my 3.slow finally blew on my after 327xxx miles so im starting on a 22re swap plans for the build are stock 22re triple top shift tcases and adding some 5.29s arbs on 37s

Why not do a 5vzfe swap, r151f, and duals? 22re is gonna be pretty gutless in that much of a truck. I know a guy with a 3rz swap in a 85 sfa custom cab and he hates it not enough power even with 4.88s on 31s.

Long bed, quad cab!  Looks like you need a 12" lift and a cummins in that thing.  Not too sure if it'll make it 55mph with a 22re... 3.4?

Never heard a Custom Cab called a Mega or quad cab...I test drove one way back in '86..biggest turning radius in history of toy trucks..still cool though.

just picked up a second motor today with full wiring harness for 100 bucks and the motor thats going in is half way build should have some pics up tomorow

if i could get the spedo up to 120 with my 3.slow running on 5 cyl im sure all do fine with my foot to the floor
