I am thinking about buying a set of 4.7 gears from Marlin for my transfercase.  Have any of you installed a set before?  Looking for some tips or tricks, or maybe even some help!!   :gap:   I've never got into a tranny or t-case before, so I'm not sure what to expect.  Thanks for any help!!  :beerchug:

Its actually a really easy job to do.  The only thing that is remotely difficult is grinding the shifter notches down for gear clearance and you also need to clearance the case to fit the larger gear.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

here is a trick..
take your time, and lay out all the parts in the order they came apart.
i went fast on mine and forgot to put the c-clip for the shift rail on.   :_oops:
