Top shift gear cases

Guys can anyone tell me if all top shift gear cases have the same bolt up pattern to the tranny?
Also a forward :pokinit: gear case can be converted to top shft does this case also bolt to the adaptor the same way or are there diff transfer bolt up patterns .
If i havent confused you please help.

all gear driven t-cases have the same pattern.
the shift rails ar the only difference, except the 23 splines on the turbo case instead of 21.
even turbo cases are the same pattern.

the only difference might be the tcase to tranny adapter like on a L43 or w56

You can bolt a top shift case to a tranny that use to have a forward shioft case.  But you have to make a plate to cover the hole for the old shifter on the bacl of the tranny, thats what i did.
