Im almost done with my efi swap!!! The gas tank i got from an 89 is about five inches longer than the tank from my 83. Like the title says. How have you guys done it? Any help would be most appreciated! Thank you in advance. My truck is an 83 shortbed pickup. The tank and harness is from an 89 shortbed.
83 shorbed pickup. 22 re swap. Dual ultimates, l52hd tranny, 5 " marlin trailflex lift. Yukon 529. Grizzly in rear zip locker front. And a bunch of other stuff....

Remove the center brace and make one that'll work.

I put an EFI tank from an 85 into my 83. I cut the round cross bar the back of the tank hangs from and moved it back. and got some diff. spring plate and moved the shocks back behind the axle. it can be done pull the bed off and go for it.
