As you can see from the picture my parking brake cable runs over the top of my leafs and rubs, how can I fix this? Mount the bracket up higher? Also I would like to see some rear shock setups, I think I have alot more travel to be gained with new mounts/longer shocks. If anyone has some pictures to share their shock mounts/bump stops that would be awesome. thanks

Don't even worry abount relocating your brake cable.  Your springs don't move in the middle anyway.  I have had mine sitting on top of the springs for over a year with no problem.

make sure your e brake cable is not rubbiing on your leaves... it will wear a grove in the spring creating a week point... Don't ask how i know ???

You can get a longer bolt and put a spacer under the equalizer mount to the right of the differential.  That will raise the center of the cable.  Then make extensions out of small angle steel for the drum levers and your done.

there are some pictures of 4crawlers setup.  I used that idea, but just made them out of angle steel with two holes in it.  Oh, and if the cable is just laying on the pack, no big deal, but any more than that and you will always have a bit of drag on your rear brakes.  They will wear a bit faster and like mine, heat up and warp the drums if bad enough.  Just get down there and see if the drum lever is resting on its stop or away from its stop a bit when the brake is off.

heres mine 13" travel doeshtechs sitting with a load and a shot with some stuff left on the right and a lot more droop on the left. I know I need to remove the brake adjuster  :smack: I would weld a piece of plate to the arms to extend them off the leaf if you don't like it  :dunno:
