I've got an 87 Sami with a 6" calmini lift sitting on 33's. Has a geo tracker motor with PS. My dreams are 1.6L TDI, yota axles w/ 5.29's and longfields, rear disc brakes, custom coil over, 6.5:1 Sami case with twisted tt shift shaft kit. Could go on...

I know ive been looking around. Ton of good info. I'm just new to this forum and I have some stuff I'd need to sell to make it all happen. Need the posts to be able to start a new topic in the classifieds.

Dingman.

This is my good buddy's sammi.

Toy axles, 5.29's, welded diffs, high steer, some kind of tcase gears from Trail tough.

Thing pisses me off cause it goes everywhere.

:welcome:  to Marland.

I've dd'ed a couple very well upgraded Sammi's, that's why I don't anymore. :gap:

As I have said in the past, if you are going to swap in a Toyota driveline in a Sammi it would have been cheaper to have just bought a Toyota. I have a bunch of guys that have done this but none of them dd their rigs. I was the only one that did, learned my lesson and now drive a 4Runner. They are a bunch of fun offroad though.

If you have facebook you can see what they've done with them. Just do a search for,  Spinnin' Fours 4x4 of Southern California,  "Like" it and then cruise all the pics we have. You'll find at least 10 people with them there.
