my old 83 became my new 82

this is a picture of my 83 that i have been building for about 4 yrs, it was done but after a trip to hammers i left it at my best friends house and this is what he did to it...

it had 63 inch chevys
bobby longs birfs
2 inch wheel spacers
cross over steering
529 front and rear
detroit rear, easy lock front
dual cases (marlins of corse) one of the first in my area to have one
new tranny L52
38 swampers
+ countless hours of building and learning
and a lot of wheelin under its belt/ 3 trips to hammers countless # of trips to the con and fordice

so what do you do?   I started over here is what i am building now

i cut up my 83 and salvaged what i could

my buddy felt bad so he bought me a new motor, and no he hasent helped at all with the building of the new truck, but that is ok he's my best bud and i forgave him for steeling the truck and rooling it down his hill

this weekend if it isint wet outside i will be doing the front spring hangers and flip kit+ crossover that i got new from marlin, and the thirds with the longfields because when i pulled the axles apart i saw that i broke one of  bobbys unbreakables.. not sure if i did it at hammers of my buddy did it with the roolover but oh well bobby gave me new ones

dude i know what you mean, it was the day befor i was going out of town to puerto vallarta for a week and he promised me he would get it back over and up the hill, needless to say i got back from my trip and it was sitting in the same spot..
