I'd try to figure out how to do a triple lever setup so all the transfer levers are in the stock location...............
this, buy a triple stick, dont cut anything on it if possible, again I think you should keep that thing like it is man, im sure someone would give you a built runner already done for it. In the end though, its your truck, and you should do what you want

To answer your questions no a budbuilt won't fit. You would need a custom made skid plate or a frontrange skidplate. Also you will need to cut more sheet metal. My thoughts are the same as yours and I ended up with the 0 degree adapter do to I wanted cut as little as possible. I'm running front range dual stick and the budbuilt skid plate. I'm happy so far and haven't seen any down side yet. Hope this helps
