just picked this up thanksgiving day.  already been sas'd, dual ultimate, 4.10s with welded front, 10 bolt front, bed bobbed 11 inches, bucket seats with 5pt harnesses, and 22re with w56.  got a great deal on it.  something in the drivetrain rumbles when driving.  i'm hopeing it's something simple like a bad third or tranny.  going to start tearing into it this weekend.  future plans are d60 front with 14 bolt rear, and 5.89s with lockers.  building this up for my dad and selling the 83 supercab i started.  hopefully it will be ready for mcr11.

that thing is tall but badass great score, im building a 91 single cab il be watching this one

superyota

it had marlin 5 inch rears with 6 inch shackels, and waggy 4405's(not 4404's) up front.  i'm thinking of putting smaller shackles on the drop it a bit.  want to fix the drivetrain issue before i do anything else though.

5.38 is the deepest gear you can go with a 14b

dang it!  i forgot about that.  maybe sell the 14b I have and get a d60 instead for the rear.  better clearance anyways.

Nah dude I'd definitely keep the 14b. I grinded the bottom of the diff down and it has the same clearance as a 60 and more strength. If anything id ony ditch it for a 70

My heavy ass runner with the 40s scoots along pretty well on hills for 5.38s and 22re

That thing just looks way to tall for 5inch springs.. weird.. looks bad ass though... How much did you pick it up for?

my bad, I looked at the springs again this weekend.  they are actually 4 inch marlin springs.  it actually doesn't sit too high.  i think the pictures are decieving.  the fenders are cut out pretty far which i think is what makes it look that way.  hoping to pick up some 37's for it soon.  painted it camo this weekend and welded up a new cat with muffler and tail pipe too.  hopefully it passes cali smog now.  i'll get some recent pics up today.

ditch that 10B lol
yea, i plan on it.  for now its going to have to do.  i'm working in l.a. all week long and don't get to go home very often.  when i get some time off i'll swap it for a d60.  i think my dad will drive it easy enough for the 10b to hold up for the time it's in there.

Added some tube doors and carpet. I was going to bob the shell but decided to do a walk through cab on it like mine and cage it instead. I'll have a shell up for sale now...

That's what the plan was, but with the gas tank mounted up in the bed now it would be a pain to fill it.
