Sadly, I've lost intrest in this project and need to get rid of it..... Its about 95% done just needs a little more body work, paint job and a the carb rebuild.... It runs and drives pretty good now just the accelerator pump is shot so you can't throttle down too fast.... After that, then it would be one awesome daily driver! and extremely rare since toyota never make ths model!

It was a 83 toyota 2wd long bed, 22R, rare 4 speed Auto (has Overdrive). a 86 turbo xtra cab has been graphed into the back of the cab to stretch it 13". The long bed has been cut done 13" in the front and 20" off the back. a 2wd 5 lug, Toyota 8", 30 spline rear axle with 4:37 gears has been swapped in place of the old 7 1/2" rear axle. It also has aluminum 15X7 ranger rims with 235R75R15 Goodyear AT's mounted which are almost brand new.... When I first bought it the motor and tranny had several leaks so I tore it completely down and replaced all the seals..... front main, oil-pump, timing cover, head, distrubitor, exhaust, rear main, oil pan, on the engine and the pump, pan and output seals on the tranny. I also replaced the timing chain since I was in there. I've also made a pre-runner style roll bar for the bed and have tied it directly to the frame with bolt plates so the bed can still be removed. The front enders have also now been swapped out to 4wd fenders and I have a set of OEM 4x4 rubber fender flares for the bed.

Cost - $1500 that just covers what I got into it and a few hours...... Ive probably have over 150 hours into this so this is a scream'n deal for someone.

Have you sold it yet? That's sucks you did all that work and can't sell it.. I really want your cab but its not worth the effort to switch cabs, not at the least. I am just going to convert my cab to Extracab like yours. In fact I've already aquired a junk Extracab that I will use for my project.

Hope you sell it!
