wheel spacers

tis past week i was driving home when i felt my tire start to wobble. when i stopped i seen that my driver side wheel was lening a little so when i raised it up the tire fell off. the spacer shered the studs righht off. the only thing i can think of is over tourqe but itourqed them to spercs. theses when not marlin spacers.

First off, glad you stopped when you did, and that your okay! You said you torqued to spec? that spec was this? I'm not a big fan of spacers, but this is just scary. Sky's IFS hub adapter time?

ya im selling my spacers. screw this, this was last straw for me

the ifs hub swap is easy, and you dont need skys overpriced adapter either.

fj rotors are 31 a piece at napa, the studs are 1.93 a piece at same, can get grade 8 fine thread bolts with 2 nylock washers for 10 bucks at fastenal, ifs or v6 rotors can be found for around 30-50 bucks

all in all about 120 bucks, and you end up with new vented rotors, new studs, new brake pads, a smidge wider than 1.5 spacers, and better brakes

if you dont wanna upgrade rotors, or hurting for money, can use solid axle rotor and caliper on he ifs hub, and all you need to buy is the studs, and certain studs fom certain sa axles will actually work also

that sounds like a good idea, ill have to look into that
