1st gen window/wiper stopped working

It normally wouldn't be a big deal, but it is about an inch down and it is supposed to rain.  I went to let it down with the key to get the wiper blade out of it, it was stuck in it.  I noticed this on the way home today, and the window went down like an inch and quit.  Now nothing.  The rear wipe doesn't work either and previously I believe it did.  Anyway, I've checked all the fuses, reset the circuit breaker.  The switch inside does nothing, not even the clicking like with the key in the tailgate.

With the key in the tailgate the relay clicks inside the rig up toward the front, but that is it.  The wiper is stuck like it was moving as the arm has moved about 4-5 inches down, so it was moving when it was stopped because it was stuck.

Anybody got any ideas?

The wiper will not work if the window is down. The window will not work unless the wiper is in the docked (up) positon. the wiper needs to be up to move the window. There is a swith you can defeat if you pull the inside cover on the tail gate. I don't remember which one for sure it has been too long. If you hold down the microswitch for the window the wiper will move up & dock. Then the window should work.

I was afraid of that since the wiper is down and the window is down, they are stopping each other from working....ARGH!

Anybody know what switch it is in the tailgate so I don't have to play trial and error?  I have an FSM, so I'm going to look there right now...
