last year when we went up, no one could get past inskip.
how far did they pave it mike?
I think ill go up there this week, just to know what will be under the snow and where

i was told  that it was paved all the way up to the dirt. :headscratch:

I believe it is paved all the way to butte meadows.

Also for everyone who hasnt been up in awhile, i have seen rangers everytime i have gone up this summer.  Just a heads up

The ranger that rides around in the side by side is a richard.  He pulled us over for improper trail driving.  He was threatening to give us a ticket for it.  All we were doing is driving down a fireroad going about 15 mph and he said we weren't far enough on the right side of the road.

Last summer there was a ranger up at the T pulling everyone over and making sure they had current registration, buddys dad got a ticket and he had towed up to inskip.  I guess if you tow your supposed to go all the way to the T, but am not 100% positive since i do not tow.  There has been a ranger posted at the philbrooke/spring valley turnoff everytime ive been up lately.

Not sure how it will be.
It snowed a little two or three weeks ago but im sure it is all gone by now, probably pretty muddy id guess, powelton road sure was on sunday.
Couple buddys wanna go up this weekend and run morris, saddle and pipejam.  We will see though, i might roll up with them.  :dunno:

Heath, you will be suprised. Lol.   Paved to the butte meadows turnoff as far as i know.  They have paint on the ground. As in double yellow lines, etc.   Guard rails, and speed limit signs around the turns. 

Once you pass the butte meadows turn off you are back on dirt until you hit the old pavement on the way to phiklbrooke.   At the Y, when you turn towards spring valley, there is tons of heavy equpiment and a posted security guard keeping watch, usually there is a ranger nearby as well.  Other than that it seems to be the same old dirt road.  This is the first year it seems like i havent gone camping up there damn near every weekend

Went up last night and it was snowing.  Hard to guage how much snow was up there but if it continues there will be a bit.

Broke trail down to the last section of Morris ran the long Campbell loop and put some more fresh tracks into grassy and to the saddle wall on Saturday night... snow was so bomb we were up there till 5am wheelin non stop. I'm thinkin there's like 3ishfeet more and less in different spots
