I looking to get a can-back soft top for my 85 runner.  Can-back's phone number is not in service and there company is not in the business listing.  Does anybody know anything of this?

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

I talked to a distributer that deals can-back and he says that they're still taking orders?  Don't know if I quite believe him but I will order one anyways.  My credit card won't be charged until I recieve the product he said.  website is soft-top.com. His name is Brian.  Also, there is another place that deals with can-back. Place is called Iron Flame inc. 615-815-1333.

Can-Back is alive and well.  I was there on Tuesday, 3/1.

The Internet marketing company Can-Back was dealing with took deposits from customers but never forwarded the orders or the $$ to Can-Back, and then hijacked their website and are apparently trying to sell the Can-Back domain name to one of Can-Back's imitators.

Unfortunately, the yahoo at the Internet marketing company has a name confusingly similar to Lawrence at Can-Back.  That guy jerked me around so much during the time I was trying to get Can-Back's direct telephone number that when my order was inadvertently delayed a few days, I thought I was getting the runaround from the same a**h*le and unfairly unloaded on Lawrence.

If you want a genuine Can-Back top, telephone Can-Back directly at (626) 815-1333.  Better yet, stop by.  They are still located at 1311 W. Foothill Blvd. in Azusa, on the north side of the street, and build the best product of its kind.

As for Softtopper.com, one of Can-Back's imitators who now claims on their website to be a "Can-Back replacement," and who may be involved in the scheme to steal the Can-Back domain name, they deserve to be boycotted.  Pass the word.

As for Bestop, another imitator, their stuff is outsourced to China and is inferior in design.
