Hey Howdy Hey!
« on: Oct 03, 2011, 12:33:25 PM »
Hey Everyone!

My name is Justin and I'm new here and to posting on forums completely. Although I'm not new to building cars or trucks. I have helped build a couple Subaru's and a couple crawlers also a couple motor swaps. I'm finally to a place where I can dig into my own project. I have a 93 4runner that I have swapped a 1JZ-GTE with an auto. Its been 2wd for close to 2 years now. The next step I'd like to take is get the 4wd back in, cause I never know how bad the Colorado winter is gonna be. Last year I had a Tacoma but I just sold it. Id like to put in an R-series tranny, but not sure the easiest/ cheapest/ best way to do it. Mostly input/output differences between the R-series. As far as T-case I'm not too worried about gear or chain. I just need it to handle the Supra power. I'm also planning to keep it IFS and Total Chaos suspension down the road. I wanna go fast! If anyone has some suggestions I would appreciate it. Otherwise glad to be apart of the forum.
