Why are people picking the 2rz instead of the 3rz motor?

I see alot of people on here swapping in the 2rz in there toyota instead of the 3rz why??????? Doesnt the 3rz have more power???

no, they used to be jeep guys. cut them some slack there trying.

maybe because they are alot easier to find, and they only have a few less horsepower.

there's alot more 2wd tacos than 4wd out there.

It's something to do with torque , I can't remember !
But they are both good engines !

Because hp to liter ratio is highest on them over any of the other normal swaps

They can be turboed easily

That and they may not know the difference. or just think that 8hp and 15ft lbs is nothing to worry about.
