starting/wiper issues ???
« on: Sep 24, 2011, 11:02:31 AM »
I had my wiring completely destroyed and have now replaced it. When I turned the key I just get a click noise in the passenger kick panel area. The part that really baffles me is that I tried to jump it at the starter and no start but the windshield wipers came on. The wiper switch is off when this happens and the wiper control module is unhooked. Seems weird to me but is there some reason the wiper control module needs to be hooked to cure my problems.  :hammerhead:

Seems wires are crossed, trace each one and fix it
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

thats what I thought but everything was just plug and play, nothing different from origonal harness. Could a relay or something along those lines be a problem?

get out the old test light and start poking around.  Make sure when you turn the key that the starting solenoid on the starter is getting power.
