Starting issues

i have a 1990 22re motor in my 80 toy.the problem is the thing wont start unless you crank the motor over for about a minute.ive checked feul pressuer, filters all that stuff. But once i get it running it has no issues.has anyone had this problem or any ideas thankz :turtle:

Distributor cap?  points clean?  Better get it fixed before the first Rubi trip.  :)

Does it happen warm or cold? Could be the choke not setting right.
Is the TPS dirty
Check your fuel rail for leaks.

I agree, check your cold start injector
72 FJ40. 350 Multiport EFI, turbo 400, ORION T-case, 35 Procomp's  disk brakes front & rear, ARB's F&R and an onboard shower for the ladies!
86 sr-5 4runner SAS conversion. E-lockers F&R, 5.29's 4.7 Marlin case.

oh Yeah it happens when its cold and i talked to a tech and he suggested the same thing :turtle:
