Does anyone know where I can buy either one of these short blocks.  I have a 22re engine in my shop,  it was two weeks old when the guy who had went in the water and cracked the block.  The head, crank and everything else is new just need a new block.  I have been looking,  I want to build this engine for a turbo.  Once completed I will have a 22re good running engine that is currently in my truck for sale.  Any help is appreciated.

Ive got bad news for you. If he hydro locked the engine at enough RPM to crack a 22R block you need more than a block. those rods are bent, pistons cracked head cracked.  no way those aluminum parts didnt break and a cast steel block did.
The crank would be the only thing I can imagine would survive.

The head is in great condition,  I have the new rods and I purchased some turbo pistons .040.  I wasn't really looking at buy a new block from lcengineering, they are a little pricey, I was just wondering if anyone had a used block they wanted to sell.  Thanks for the help guys. I am interested in a turbo exhaust manifold used if anyone has.  I Know LCengineering, and some other places have them for about 700. If I have too I will buy new, but was just looking for some used parts.
