Okay I'll bite; What's wrong with the trail gear kit, other then being a competitors product?
I don't have any real tech on why it's bad. But I will say that I have helped install one before and it's not that bad but pretty pricey for what you get, and the truck drove like crap after. Like OOPS said I have also heard the numbers are goofy. To the op, what makes you want to do a 3 link in the rear rather than 4 link? Don't want to move the gas tank?
i have 3 link on the rear of my 82 pu and can say it performs reay well on and of roadi am using coils with dislocation cones
To any and all. If flex is how you measure the quality of your suspension, then you are only acccounting for one attribute of many. There is more to a quality suspension than just simple flex. Us rock crawlers starting using the 3link design because it doesn't bind. i.e. if you put a johnny joint at each end of every link you will have little to zero bind in the suspension. Its not hard. But there is much more to it than that for over all performance.
Why are you barely up the ramp and have to have someone holding you up with a winch o.O by that it looks to me like it doesnt work that great lol.
i wanted to try to not move the gas tank but if 4 link for the rear is better i would
