getting back into crawling
« on: Aug 20, 2011, 08:13:12 AM »
for the past few months i have been searching/looking for the right 'yota build. i have owned an 81, which went over the rubicon in 92/93. i did the little sluice with open diffs! well, lots has changed, and i've had a few rigs since that toy. i prefer the toyota's for the reasons of drive in/drive out they offer. have been looking at quite a few rigs, and trying to decide on which gen i'll go with. the first gens are the best looking imho. but, the 2nd extra cab are the ones i seem to look at more and more. if there is one thing i've learned it is to take time to find the right one, and do much research. so, armed with just enough knowledge to make me dangerous, an adequate welder, and fab skills that rival a tree stump; i'm going for it!  thanks for having me.
