First, a girl from our teeny little hometown of Beech Creek was no only cast on Cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model, but she won the whole frickin thing in May and is now a fancy model in NYC.

And now...........

Our local little league team is headed to the Little League World Series!!!!!!!!!!!!  Last 2 games have been televised on ESPN, with this morning's victory over Paramus NJ ensuring our spot in the LLWS.  GO KEYSTONE!!!!!   We play Friday evening.

Well the boys are kind of struggling in their first game of the little league world series right now.  But it's double elimination so we shall see.  But we set a Little League World Series record attendance tonight at almost 42,000!  :yupyup:

OK so we lost the first game 1-0.  But last night we won our second game 2-0.

That's OK.  We're so proud of "our boys" around here, they'll always be our little heroes!  haha.  So now they're 3rd in the U.S. and 6th in the whoooole wide world!   :yupyup:   We're welcoming them back into town here in a couple hours with a parade.

You got that right!  haha.  Our town is soooo small, and of course the Little League place is right down in Williamsport.  So kids around here grow up with it all up in the faces.  I'm just so happy for them, I want to hug them and squeeze their little cheeks.  LOL.  They're definitely rock stars around here now though.  School is about to start in a couple of days, they'll have little groupies following them around the halls!   :rofl:
