I dont care about having a heep join with us.  If he wants to be ridiculed and have to face that he made a bad vehicular decison it sounds fine with me.  Actually I dont care if someone wants to bring a civic, but if its not capable of what were doing its getting left at camp.

I would have to agree with that.  The vehicle doesn't matter to me either it just needs to prove that it can keep up.

There are plenty of campsites available, the only time you have to reserve is on busy weekends, like memorial and 4th of july weekends, Whistlin' jack lodge is about 2 miles from milk creek road( the gravel one that takes you to the rocks), beautiful resort and rooms, and an awesome restaurant.

We may have to reset the date or area due to this information I just found:
Taneum/Manastash as of 2/14/05:

    * Taneum Creek Road #33 remains closed to wheeled vehicles beyond the Sno-Park.
    * Manastash Road #31 is now closed and posted closed to wheeled vehicle traffic near the Barber Springs Road, 2.5 miles before the National Forest Boundary.

Attention all Off Road motorized trail riders:  Trails are not accessible at this time!  Trail damage is already occurring to National Forest motorized trails by those that are riding during this wet and warm winter season.  Don’t do this!  Obey road closure signs and please wait until road and trail surfaces are dry and posted open.

From here: http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/recreate/reports.html#anchor253264

This basically closes the area we were planning to wheel in as far as I can tell. Can someone enlighten me further? Hopefully I am wrong?!
