Which is best to us arc weld or mig or tig? I have the option of all 3

Mig should work great and is simple.  I definately wouldn't waste the time with tig.  Obviously, fab up some frame plates to distribute the load when welding them on.  .02

So there's no point in trying to use a arc welder

Arc welder will work just fine as long as you are comfortable in using it to achieve satisfactory welds. Just be sure to choose a good rod and make sure the rod isn't old where the rod coating could be moist. Fresh dry rod will work best.  :thumbs:

x2 on whatever you can create the best quality welds with. Make sure you can trust having quite a bit of your rig's weight sitting on them if you get hung up.

Weld with the best way you can, all 3 are arc welding.
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?
