Hello I've been reading here off and on for a while and finally just registered and got a YOUSERNAME.  I am getting ready to put a 2rz into my 1985 4runner followed by RUF, 63" chevy rears, duals with 4.7's in rearcase. armor lockers etc. same old Toyota stuff. The motor swap is a little intimidating to me though 2rz is from a 2003 2wd taco.  I have complete motor, engine wiring harness, trans, and ecu.  Going into 1985 4runner. 5spd(w56?), 22re (Coming out), stock t-case, stock front axle, ifs rear axle. Right now I am $800 into 4runner $300 into 2rz I've got more wrapped up in gears lockers axles etc. but pretty cheap so far. Any advise or tips or ??? would be greatly appreciated. I am reading the 2rz/3rz swap thread right now and it looks helpful but I wish I knew exactly which bellhousing, clutch, throttle cable etc. I am going to order engine swap motor mount plates that bolt right up so getting it in right shouldn't be an issue. Thanks and glad to be here! ~Chris

I am from Bigfork.  Mostly go to Wild Bill/Blacktail. This is my first build and I am pretty excited to get it done.
