Topic: 1995 Toyota (Not Tacoma) w/ 3.4L stock?

Ok I found this truck I'm looking to buy. He says it an 1995 but pre-Tacoma with 3.4L v6? I looked everywhere and this is the only one I came across. any help?

Thats a 3rd generation extra cab. Just as you stated, I would guess it is a motor swap or a 3.0 and the owners an idiot.


Edit: On second thought I highly doubt thats a motor swap because the ad states the heat,a/c, and cruise control all work. The 3.4 uses positive pulse rpm readings and the 3.0 uses negative pulse to power these options.

No that a pu! Taco do start in 95 but usually they have to be 95 1/2 to be a taco with3.4!

Whoa, I have a friend of a friend (I know) who has a 3rd gen with the 3.4 and a lot of other weird stuff. This truck might be the one I have heard about since I live in that area.

X2...I'm sure Toyota made a few with 3.4's...because that would certainly be enough to pay for all the design and engineering in addition to all the special parts to make everything work...not only unlikely, but absurd.

It could also be a 96 that was built in 95 and the guys sees the 95 on the spec plate on the door and assumes it is a 95. Pictures are not really that good to tell what year it is.
