Who did the powder coat for ya? Looks like he does nice work . I wouldn't mind giving the guy some business if he isn't too far away.  :beerchug:
My cousin did it at his work.  No it's not something done on the side, it was him pulling a favor for me with his boss. Unfortunately it was a one shot deal. The paint is custom for a Harley and wont be used again. The glitter everyone is seeing is dust. Don't get excited, I don't have to get sparkle black nail polish to touch up.

Understood the favor part OK... :beerchug:  Was just wondering about a business name and where they are.   That is all.

The business is an industrial switchgear manufacturer. His boss was using their paint maching to do his own private stuff, and threw mine in the mix.

Got it!  So it's just part of what they do as a process but they don't operate as a powdercoating business...is that right?

Ok, finished mounting the bumper, now it's on to the winch. Clearances for the rear bolts suck, at least for the bolts that Mile Marker provided, I cross threaded one trying to get it to line up so I've gotta get new ones tomorrow.
I think I am going to have to lift/block up the winch to make enough room to fit the bolts in and partially thread them in to the nuts, then lower it for the final tightening... :outtahere:

10" Toe out.

37mm lens about 8' from truck.

I'll take a shot with my fisheye to show you the difference. It's 8mm

Thanks! Hopefully it will stay that way for at least one day... :_oops:

Um, just leave a deposit. :gap:

Ok, so I finished mounting the winch and wiring it up. The directions and cables from Mile Marker make everything beyond simple. The only thing I didn't have was a long 6mm allen, but I borrowed one from my neighbor. On to the final pics...

Looks nice and CLEAN! You didn't even have to cut the grille. Is that a plastic fairlead? Who makes that? Did it come with the winch? If I missed it while reading thru the thread, feel free to give me a :slap:

Yeah, I was stoked about that. I wanted it set back more, but after having the Marlin bumper I think I made the right choice. :yesnod:
