so my rear drive line is a little out of whack....and  ended blowing my bearings apart in my rear end

is there a easy way to tell if a drive line is straight? i dont have the money for a fancy new one and i dont  wanna screw my self by buying one thats already bent.

i would take your current drive shaft and take it down to a local driveshaft shop and have them rebalance it and replace the bad parts

x2 it should not be more than 20 to rebalance and then if you need new parts it will go up from there but rebalance is the only way to truely know. I build my own out of sched 40 and have them balanced and i have yet to bend one.

bent? unbalanced? bad joints? never heard of an unbalanced shaft causing diff bearings to grenade.

More than likely you would have known it was out of balance  or had too much angle because you would have been getting bad vibrations while driving.

If it was bad enough to destroy your diff bearings you would have definitly noticed the vibrations.  Hell my buddy taco'd his rear driveline on the con and welded tubing over it to make it home and drove kn that sucker for a long time and lord knows that was no longer balanced and never had any problems

Blowing arpart your pinnion bearings was most likely bad install setup, especially if its happened more than once.

Take a long straight edge(the length of the tube section of your drive line), or a piece of string and some duct tape.  Lay the straight edge or tape the string to one end and pull it tight and hold it to the other end, along the drive line on four opposing sides.  If you can see a gap between the straight edge or string line anywhere along the drive line, then it is bent.  This wont guarantee the driveline is good, only that it isn't bent, you would still need to have it balance.

If your denting your driveline you should prob get it retubed to thicker tubing.
