Newish
« on: Jun 07, 2011, 10:23:42 PM »
Hi everyone,

Registered a while back, but haven't posted much.  I've learned a lot from this site, specifically mass amounts of 3rz info .

Been working on a 1st gen 4runner w/ a 3rz, links, and some other stuff...with a lot of help from a friend.  Finally got it out on the street/trail and hope to make the round up.

Really appreciate all the info provided here and hope to contribute the little I've learned.

-Scott

No HID's, but it does kinda look like it from that angle.

As for the rear bumper, are you talking about a stinger?  If so, we are going to add one in the very near future...just don't want to completely kill the departure angle.

With a swing out or swing down you should be able to still retain use of your tailgate.

Check out the bumpers/cages forum on here...plenty of good ideas

Should have it mostly finished within about 2 weeks....I'll post some actual wheeling shots up then.

That is sick  :drooling:

3rz swaps are some of my favorite, especially on clean rigs  The fj80 front is sweet too.

Do you have a build or anything?

No build thread yet...still have a few things to finish first.

Bigmike made too good of an arguement for the 3rz not to pass up.  I've only had this out once, but did suprisingly well on the freeway grades w/ 5.29's and a pretty heavy runner...but I'm already looking at cams :hammerhead:.
