Trunion Bearing Test?
« on: Jun 01, 2011, 07:37:50 PM »
I think my driver side trunions may be bad. When going down the road, i can see my tire is not rotating perfectly straight when going under 40 mph. My tires are boggers, so they have some "wobble" between 30 and 40 mph, but nothing crazy. Any way to know for sure if the trunion bearing are good or bad? Thanks

WEll if you take the knuckle off and the bearing falls apart, its bad usually that happens when they go bad.
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

samething happened to me a while back...turned out to be my trunion bearings. be very careful when you take it apart just in case it is your bearing, broken bearing peices can do alot of damage.
