webber carb help 32/36

ok i got my webber in the mail yesterday put it on and it will only run if i have my hand over the throtle plate (where the air enters the carb) but it would stall out. also with my hand covering it it sounded like it was sucking air somewhere. PLEASE HELP I NEED MY TRUCK BACK.

cover the carb like you are and spray carb clean around the carb and  see what happens if you have a vacume leak it will
eather rev or dog down a bit and the you can consintrate on that spot
