I have toy rears up front and this is what I did. 83 toy rears minus over load plus stock waggy main with spring eyes cut off and next leaf down all my leafs are between the spring clamps. I also fliped the toy leaf with the clamps around so the clamp was further back. the toy rears are an inch longer so I don't know if you can just bolt them up to stock SA trucks with out bottoming the shackles on the body mounts. I also did a 2" drop box and 2" shackles on both of my trucks.

My springs.  Top 3 are the top 3 from my stock rear pack.  Middle leaf is a cut down chevy spring.  Bottom 3 are the bottom 3 from a stock waggy pack.  I am going to be addign another leaf soon becasue it has sagged a tad bit.  But it flexs great.  I actually moved my front spring bolt back about an inch and it still moved the axle forward about an inch or two.  My shackles do hit the frame a little when it is flat, but not bad.  You can run rears up front with the stock hangers and have it be good.  My 35's don't hit at all, 37's did a little.  With fender trimming and beating.  I have Rancho 5012 shocks.

The rear toy springs are 2inches longer..I am running a 6 leaf pack,,all 4 rears and 2 downey leafs..Banna shackles..because the rears moves your front end 2 inches forward you also have to move you shock mount..I am using the ford towers with gussets..drive line also needs to be longer..You have to use cross over steering also..

I'm using :
81 rears up front (minus overload)
   added custom 4th leaf
   extended shackle
Roger Browns axle relocators to move axle back 1 inch (2" is too long)
   flipped ball on steering arm
   home-fabbed adjustable torque rod
   adjustable drag link

Note : did not convert to cross-over.  Works great.

ok,,that might be where the problem I had,,I went 2inches forward and thought for some reason having to go x-over,maybe the inch is the difference..
Why would you NOT want to move it 2 inches forward..Better approch angle,,better clearance in the fender well for big meats..I barley rub with 36 irocks..

I thought that toy rears were 1" longer but the center pin is 1 3/4" forward so instead of 22" to center and 25" to center it is 20 1/4" to center and 27 3/4 to center I'm gonna remeasure mine today since I can't remember  :smack:

Stock toy rears move the axle forward 2" because they are only 20.5" on the front half where as a stock toyota front spring is 22.5" on the front half.
They are the same length, the center pin is 2" forward. :gap:
