fade

maybe its me but your all retarted. If you go to subway they just dont put on what you think, You have to ask for things if you where lactose intolerant like me and went in and ordered a steak well their menu says steak and cheese if they put cheese on it, well I'd be sicker then snot. If your allergic to tomatos but love bacon well you get the point. And get off your fat lazy ass and go in to the store and order it, and if your going to subway your trying to eat healthy so don't get the blt, or meatball.

Mr. Pot meet Mr. Kettle.

BTW...it's retarded. I'm just sayin'!

Sorry if you're having a bad day there, fade...  :therethere:

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you are allergic to something and it is clearly listed with that item in it on the menu, should it not be your responsibility to specifically tell the server no cheese? Should you have to ask for cheese when you order a cheeseburger?

Even though this is a pretty rediculous argument, I'm in. Thanks for the chance.

The whole point of this is...the name is the ingredient list. Kind of like saying PB&J...you kind of expect to at least get peanut butter and jelly when you order one. If I order a French Dip...I don't expect a stupid Parisienne. I was also commenting on the (I hate this phrase...but) "corporate culture" the promotes robotic responses instead of awareness.

To your point...if you're allergic, I think the final responsibility falls on you. But, in the overly litigious world we live in...probably everyone BUT you is responsible for your safety.

Rocksurfer told about having to apologize for sending out a burger-less burger...so, no...one shouldn't need to specify putting cheese on a cheese burger, or a grilled cheese.

On the other hand you have to expect there will be mistakes made on occasion.
