Gasket question
« on: May 13, 2002, 03:41:13 AM »
I know there is a gasket set for the (tranny to transfer) but if this is the only gasket I need to replace (that I know of so far) would it be wise to just make my own out of "blue" RTV?

Thanks,
Brian "ROGUEDOGG" Ford

P.S. ALSO...you stated I needed 12x1.25 bolts for my tranny to bellhousing, what should the length be for those bolts?

THANKS....

Sure, making your own gasket would work, just make sure you use some high grade silicone, such as Genuine Toyota Super Black or aftermarket Super Gray.

I believe the bolts are 48mm long. I will need to double check..
